ISLE of Man businessman Stuart "The Brand" Baggs has become the talk of Britain after his debut on BBC TV's The Apprentice last night.
Media throughout the UK have commented on him - as have celebrities on social networking site Twitter.
Stuart, 21, the youngest ever contestant to take part in the show, narrowly escaped being fired by potential new boss Sir Alan Sugar.
His aggressive selling technique in the sausage selling task came under criticism from his colleagues and aide Karren Brady and he was brought back for a boardroom showdown.
After making claims including "everything I touch turns to sold" and "I'm Stuart Baggs, The Brand" the British media were quick to comment on his performance.
The Telegraph headlined its coverage of the show "a new nitwit emerges" but said:
"I'm just grateful that Stuart was spared. He may not deserve a £100,000-a-year job but anyone capable of uttering the following sentence should be awarded some kind of prize - 'I'm alive. There are so many people that aren't alive or have died, unfortunately. I'm alive, and that's a gift frankly'."
Social networking site Twitter was buzzing with opinions on the Island businessman.
Celebrity magazine Heat and TV presenter Sue Perkins both made derogatory comments about him on Twitter.
While Radio One DJ Chris Moyles tweeted: "He HAS to stay."
At the end of the show Lord Sugar revealed he was close to firing Stuart. He said: "This young lad Stuart is a handful. I was close to firing two of them today. I ain't putting up with him much longer."
The Independent concluded: "Oh please, Lord Sugar, don't rush the execution – he really deserves to suffer a bit first."
