Good showing from double trap pair

by isleofman.com 6th October 2010

There was a good showing from the Isle of Man's double trap team in the shooting this morning at the Commonwealth Games.

Tim Kneale and Jake Keeling finished fifth on 182 points, just three behind bronze medalists Malaysia and seven behind the English pair, who won gold.

Meanwhile Steven Watterson finished 15th in the men's 10m air rifle competition with a score of 572-22x, meaning he didn't progress to the final.

The qualification event was won by India's Gagan Narang, who shot six consecutive 100s to score 600-50x, a new games record.

He then claimed the gold medal in the final.
