Tributes to Sir Norman Wisdom

FANS have been paying tribute to Sir Norman Wisdom who died at Abbotswood Nursing Home in Ballasalla yesterday (Monday).

 

The comedy legend was 95.

 

A number of fans were quick to email tributes into isleofman.com

 

One, from Claire Denham-Baker, said: "Words cannot describe the great sense of loss I feel at Sir Norman Wisdom's passing.

 

"His movies got me through the loss of my father and made me smile again.

 

"He was a genius and a legend. May he never be forgotten by the world that owes him so much. I hope his final days were peacful. God bless and let you sleep in peace. Xxx"

 

Steohen Seery said: "No doubt he'll be pretending to trip up as he walks into the party waiting to welcome his arrival in heaven.

 

"Hardly a tall man but a true giant of comedy.Thanks for the laughter,sir. Thank you."
