How to spend the Summerland windfall?

East Douglas MHK Chris Robertshaw says now the Summerland site is to be sold, the cash raised can be used to improve other areas of the capital.

Last week, the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure announced it would sell the site for housing at a price of around ?5 million.

Mr Robertshaw says the land has been unused for too long, but now it is set to generate some cash, politicians must consider how best to spend the windfall.

He says there are plenty of things in Douglas which could use the money:
