Flu vaccination campaign for Ramsey

by isleofman.com 4th October 2010

RAMSEY Group Practice will be running two "Health Days" at Ramsey Town Hall as part of their seasonal flu vaccination campaign.

Anyone eligible for a flu jab can visit Ramsey Town Hall and be seen by one of the GP's or practice nurses without the need to make an appointment.

There will also be the opportunity to have your weight and blood pressure checked.

Dr Allinson, from the Ramsey Group Practice, said: "The Ramsey Group Practice thought they would try and reach the community more effectively by coming into the centre of town and would like to thank the Commissioners for their help in using the Town Hall."

As well as the chance to have the injection there will also be information and advice from Age Concern, McMillan, Victim Support and the Fire Brigade. Refreshments will also be available.

The Health Days will take place at Ramsey Town Hall in Parliament Square between 10am and 4pm on Thursday, October 14 and Thursday, October 21.
