Motorists warned about standing water on roads

by isleofman.com 3rd October 2010

MOTORISTS are being urged to drive with caution today as there is a lot of standing water on the Island's roads following heavy rainfall.

The Emergency Services' Joint Control Room has issued the advice and said falling leaves and the wet conditions are making some roads slippery.

The dip at Santon near the Santon Motel has a large amount of standing water across all the road which the Department of Infrastructure will be dealing with.
