Concern over 'behaviour' of union man

North Douglas MHK John Houghton will call on Tynwald this month to appoint a committee to investigate the Island's new bus network.

He says his priority is the people, and the new timetable is a complete shambles which needs to be sorted out.

Earlier this week union official Steve Salter accused Mr Houghton of interfering in negotiations relating to the buses and suggested he was standing in the way of good industrial relations.

But Mr Houghton has no regrets:
