THE Isle of Man Commonwealth Games team said it is delighted with its accommodation Delhi.
The state of the accommodation for athletes taking part in the event, which starts on Sunday, has hit the headlines in the UK recently.
But the Manx team has not encountered any problems.
A spokesman said: "The accommodation and the village are excellent. The teams are housed in seven storey tower blocks in three bedroom apartments.
"They are spacious and comfortable and the Manx team are delighted with their surroundings. Security is tight, but no worse than in Melbourne really (the host city of the 2006 games)."
The spokesman added: "We are all disappointed that Peter and Tim Kennaugh have pulled out of the cycling team and shocked about Joe Smith's injury.
"However, the first competition day is Monday when the badminton and archery squads will be in action, and everyone is looking forward to getting on with the serious business."
Tim Kennaugh pulled out of the event citing health and safety issues. Meanwhile his brother Peter is a professional rider with Team Sky and a decision was made to pull all Sky riders out of the event.
Gymnast Joe Smith was forced to pull out after suffering a serious injury to his leg and fellow gymnast Olivia Curran is now also out of the games as she injured a knee during a fall in training yesterday.
