by isleofman.com 28th September 2010

A STRESS awareness training course for employees has been launched by St John Ambulance in the Isle of Man.

The three hour course will advise workers on how to recognise the early signs of stress in the workplace and at home and take steps to control it and alleviate it.

Phil Bennett, commercial development officer for St John Ambulance Isle of Man, said: "The course is suitable for any employee who works in a particularly stressful environment or who needs to be able to recognise the early signs of stress."

The first course will take place on Thursday, October 21, from 9am to 12pm. It is offered free of charge to existing customers of St John Ambulance.

Subject to demand the course will be repeated at least twice each year with courses already scheduled for April and October next year.

The course costs £75 per delegate and all attendees will receive a certificate.

Anyone wishing to book a place on the course should contact Phil Bennett on 01624 674387 or e-mail marketing@sja.org.im
