Four fire crews tackle blaze above Top Shop

by isleofman.com 28th September 2010

Fire crews remain at the scene above Top Shop in Duke Street in Douglas this morning (Tuesday) – three and a half hours after a blaze began in first floor offices.

It’s believed no-one was in the building at the time but investigations into what caused the fire continued.

Lord Street remains closed from the junction of Fort Street to the junction of Ridgeway Street, although it’s hoped it will re-open by 8am in time for rush hour.
