Food and Drink Festival continues

by isleofman.com 26th September 2010

The Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival continues today (Sunday).

There'll be a wide range of activities for children today encouraging them to cook, design and eat their own creations.

There'll also be the final of the I Love Manx Chef of the Year competition which will see professional chefs battle it out to win an all expenses paid trip to a top London Restaurant.

The aim of the festival is to show the public the wide range of produce that's available over here.

Marketing Manager for the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, Audrey Fowler, says the work to encourage people to 'buy Manx' won't just stop now.
