Leaders romp to another victory

The St John's juggernaut continued in JCK Division Two as they thrashed Colby 8-0 on Saturday.

Steve Glover hit four in the romp with Liam Leece, Mark Wolfenden, John Wrigley and goalkeeper Andy Glover, from the penalty spot, netting the others.

Ramsey Youth Centre are up to third after a 2-1 win over Marown, courtesy of goals from Steve Jordan and Elliott Cureton.

Juan Killip continued his fine form in front of goal for the Crosby side.

The surprise of the day came as Ronaldsway – who had lost every match so far this season – hit seven at the Police in a 7-4 win.

John Kinley, Jamie Leeney and Kevin Murphy all grabbed braces for the Rockets.

Pulrose and Onchan shared four goals in an entertaining contest.

Craig Cowin and Callum Careen grabbed the goals as the home side fought back from two goals down.
Robbie Burns and Mark Walmsley scored the goals for Onchan.

Wilie Woods, John Kelly, Liam Harrison and Adam Menton were the goal-getters as Foxdale won 4-2 at Douglas and District, leapfrogging their opponents in the process.

Doubles from James and Geoff Murphy earned Braddan an exciting 4-3 win over battling Malew, for whom Adam Drewitt, Keith Collister and Dean Kinley found the net.
