CELEBRITY chef Gino D'Acampo has been charming the audience at the Isle of Man Food and Drink Festival today.
The popular TV chef spoke to isleofman.com reporter Tessa Hawley this morning about his first thoughts about the Isle of Man.
Gino revealed he had already tasted Manx cooking, enjoying scallops and lobster at 14 North in Douglas for dinner last night.
"I've always wanted to come to the Isle of Man, it's one of those places you've heard about but never got the chance to go because of being busy."
He told Tessa, jokingly, he would have even come over to the Island and appeared at the show for free!
Gino appeared at the Manx Food Theatre at the show in the Villa Marina Gardens this morning and will be appearing again at 1.45pm.
