Opportunity to learn about careers in banking

by isleofman.com 24th September 2010

RESIDENTS will have the chance to get advice and information about careers in island banking tomorrow (Saturday).

Lloyds TSB is holding an open day in The Strand shopping centre to provide people with an opportunity to ask questions and gain an insight into what job roles and opportunities are available within the bank.

Peter Reid, islands director for Lloyds TSB said: "The open days represent a unique opportunity for anyone actively considering a career in banking to find out what Lloyds TSB is all about and more about islands banking in general.

"The Isle of Man is now a 'Centre of Excellence' for offshore back office operations so the first open day will focus on the many roles available in operations.

"However, we would also like to take the opportunity to extend the invitation to all Isle of Man residents so that we can update them on recent changes to our local branch network and the new offerings we have to support growing families."

There will also be family activities and a chance to win £50 worth of vouchers for The Early Learning Centre.

The open day takes place on Saturday, September 25 and runs from 10.30am until 4pm.
