'Last Night' at the Gaiety

A night of party pieces and flag-waving is guaranteed at the Gaiety Theatre tomorrow (Saturday).

The Last Night of the Proms celebration will feature a wide-ranging programme, including classics such as Elgar's Pomp And Circumstance March Number One and Wood's Fantasia On British Sea Songs.

Manx Concert Brass and the Manx National Youth Band are tuning up for the traditional festivities.

Band president Sir Laurence New says it will be a stirring occasion:
