Alterations planned to airport gardens

by isleofman.com 24th September 2010

Claims that major changes to the gardens at Isle of Man Airport are on the way are being dismissed by the authorities at Ronaldsway.

Airport director Anne Reynolds says alterations are planned to parts of the area infront of the main terminal building, which will see flower beds replaced with more grass.

However, the Winter Hill memorial garden will remain.

It had been claimed the gardens were to be ripped up as a money saving exercise.

There's no comment yet from the airport on whether the changes will reduce maintenance costs.
