Dr Kishore allays swine flu fears

The director of public health is reassuring Isle of Man residents who are worried about flu this winter.

In January, organisations were told to 'stand down' their swine flu procedures, because of the decline in the number of cases in the United Kingdom, Europe and North America.

Nine months later, the much publicised disease remains an issue, but the regular flu vaccine given out each winter is now blended with the swine flu version, and Dr Parameswaran Kishore says there's no need for extra concern:
