The Cooil Road was closed to traffic for about an hour after an accident this morning (Wednesday).
The emergency services closed the route between Vicarage Road and Lhergy Cripperty, shortly before 9am.
According to eye witnesses, a car lay on its side on the road and police and the fire service were called into action.
The Emergency Services Joint Control Room said the road had been cleared and reopened just before 10am.
No information has been released on any injuries.
