ALLIANCE and Leicester International has donated £300 to Isle of Man charity Mannannan Lions.
The funds were raised during dress down days both at the bank's offices and at its sister company Bradford and Bingley International in Douglas.
The Mannannan Lions Club was formed in 2007 and has a committed and growing membership. Lions are men and women who volunteer both their time and resources to helping others.
Lions Clubs International was founded in 1917 and is the world's largest service club organisation with 1.3 million members in approximately 45,000 clubs in 205 countries and geographical areas.
The charity's spokesperson Carole Malarkey said: "The Mannannan Lions Club members would like to thank Alliance and Leicester for their generous charity donation for which they were truly grateful.
"It will be used on the Island to help with community based issues. They would also like to thank (Alliance and Leicester's) George Campbell for his support and hard work in the local community."
Mr Campbell, Alliance and Leicester International's community affair manager, said: "The Mannannan Lions do a great deal of good work across the Isle of Man. I am sure our donation will assist them in fulfilling their objectives further."
