The Manx Commonwealth Games team will travel to Delhi on Saturday, unless advised by the other home countries not to.

There is growing concern over the readiness of the athletes village - Scotland have described it as "uninhabitable" - England, Northern Ireland and Wales are amongst several other countries to raise the issue.

In addition, a footbridge from a car park to the main stadium collapsed today critically injuring 5 with 23 others hurt.

The Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association says it is "concerned" about the situation at the Village - the Manx advance party in India admits the accommodation does need a thorough clean before the team arrive on Sunday.
