Bishop reflects on Lambeth meeting

The Island's bishop says Pope Benedict's historic meeting with the Archbishop of Canterbury was a very relaxed affair, but one of great significance.

The Right Reverend Robert Paterson was among the great gathering of Anglican and Roman Catholic bishops at Lambeth Palace on Friday afternoon.

Pope Benedict was greeted by Dr Rowan Williams and the pair each spoke to the assembly before exchanging gifts.
