Bishop at Lambeth Palace for Pope Benedict's visit

The Island's bishop has joined colleagues in the Church of England in welcoming Pope Benedict XVI to the United Kingdom.

The pontiff was greeted by Archbishop of Canterbury Dr Rowan Williams, in a show of unity between the Catholic and Anglican churches.

Manx Radio’s religious affairs correspondent Judith Ley says it was an honour for Bishop Robert to attend the gathering, inside Lambeth Palace:
