Cancer forum at the Hilton Hotel

by isleofman.com 17th September 2010

Cancer patients and carers are being urged to come together on Monday evening.

The Isle of Man Cancer Services User Forum is hosting a drop-in gathering at the Hilton Hotel in Douglas.

Anyone who has been diagnosed with the disease and undergone treatment, or cared for a sufferer, can share their experiences in confidence with other patients.

Forum chairman Derek Peters says the approach helps ensure patients have access to the right professional support and best treatment (play audio file):

The forum takes place in the Hilton Hotel's Shearwater suite, from 5.30 to 7.30pm next Monday, September 20.
