Appeal for film stars to come forward

by isleofman.com 14th September 2010

THE hunt is on for people who stared in a film shot in the Isle of Man.

The Films in Peel committee is trying to find anyone who starred in the 1946 film I See a Dark Stranger.

They want to invite anyone who had an involvement with the film to be special guests at their screening of the film, which will take place on Friday, September 24.

I See a Dark Stranger starred Debroah Kerr and Trevor Howard and was partly made in the Island.

The screening is part of the Films in Peel season which takes place at the Centenary Centre.

Anyone who took part in the film, who would like to attend as a special guest, is urged to contact Jenny on 01624 845316 or by e-mail - filmsinpeel@manx.net.
