The Speaker of the House of Keys believes the Island will emerge as a stronger jurisdiction following the campaign to save the Reciprocal Health Agreement.
Steve Rodan lobbied with parliamentarians throughout the British Isles over the deal and is a long-time friend of former MP Andrew MacKinlay, who campaigned tirelessly in Westminster for the cause.
Mr Rodan says the events that ultimately led to the signing of a new agreement on Thursday will help the Island in any future challenges.
