POLICE are appealing for witnesses to two "disturbances" involving girls in Ramsey.

They took place at the pier off East Quay and at the swingbridge and resulted in a 13-year-old girl being assaulted.

The incidents happened on Tuesday, August 31 between 4.10pm and 4.55pm.

Police would particularly like to speak to a woman who intervened during the incident on the swingbridge.
