Mananan Opera Festival starts tonight

THE Mananan Opera Festival starts in Port Erin tonight with an opera by Wolfgang Mozart.

 

Cosi Fan Tutte, which roughly translates as "All women are like that", is an 18th century opera about fickleness and infidelity.

 

The performance will take place in the Isle of Man Bank Auditorium at the Erin Arts Centre. It will be directed by Stefan Janski and musical director Kevin Thraves.

 

The opera will run for three nights, Friday 10, September 11 and Sunday 12, at 8pm.

 

Tickets cost £20 and are available from the Box Office on 01624 832662.
