Isle of Man gets new reciprocal health deal

A NEW reciprocal health agreement between the Isle of Man and the United Kingdom was signed moments ago.

 

Isle of Man Health Minister David Anderson MHK signed the document in the presence of Chief Minister Tony Brown MHK.

 

In the UK the agreement was signed by Anne Milton MP, parliamentary under-secretary of state for public health.

 

Mr Anderson said: "I am delighted to be able to sign this agreement today and I know that the Manx people will be satisfied that this finally ends the uncertainty over our long term emergency health care agreements with the UK."
