Beauty spot enjoys a better year

Police say they are pleased fewer people have been misbehaving at the Sulby Claddagh campsite this year.

Earlier this week, 18-year-old Thomas Christopher Wood admitted affray and damaging property at the site and was placed on probation for two years.

Inspector Derek Flint of the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team says, in general, people have been well-behaved at the Claddagh since a partnership was set up to oversee it.

And, as the camping season draws to a close, he says he is pleased most people have treated the campsite with respect:
