Lowey Leads Manx Charge at Bolton

Rowany golfer Paul Lowey has won the Bolton Old Links Trophy for the second time in three years.

Rounds of 68 and 71 for a total of 139 gave the three-time Island champion a two shot winning margin.

There were three other Manx players in the final top 12 - reigning Manx title holder Daryl Callister of Mount Murray was equal 4th on 143, and Brian Duggan of King Edward Bay and Ramsey's Davy Jones were equal 10th on a total of 146.
