Delhi is Ready At Last

by isleofman.com 8th September 2010

With only weeks to go before the opening ceremony, Delhi is ready to host the Commonwealth Games.

After months of uncertainty over facilities being finished in time, organisers have confirmed all buildings have been inspected and passed fit for use.

There had been concern over the athletes village, the main stadium and the swimming complex in particular.

But the Commonwealth Games Federation has now received safety certificates for all venues.

Isle of Man General Team Manager Trevor Taubman is relieved to hear the latest news from India:-

The Commonwealth Games in Delhi take place between the 3rd and 14th of October.
