FILMS in Peel will launch their autumn season of films this Friday with Alice in Wonderland.
The Films in Peel Committee will screen Tim Burton’s 2010 version of the film, which stars Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter, on September 10 at 7.45pm.
To celebrate the start of the season there will be a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party from 7pm with cakes of all shapes and sizes to enjoy and colourful characters to take tea with.
There will also be prizes on offer for the best mad hat so film goers are encouraged to get creative.
The Films in Peel event is held at the Centenary Centre in Peel, and has been running for the last two years.
Tickets for the event are £4 or £3 for concessions.
