An inquest has been told a Laxey man founded hanged in his garage had made previous attempts to end his own life.

The body of 52-year-old George Crowe, of Glen Roy, was discovered by his wife on August 26.

Evidence showed Mr Crowe had suffered from depression and had attempted suicide in January this year.

However, his family believed his condition was improving, thanks to ongoing medical help.
