Manx man and wife die in accident in Scotland

A Douglas father has been speaking about the tragic loss of his son and daughter-in-law in a bike accident in Scotland.

54 year old Peter Corris, who was raised in Circular Road and educated in Douglas, died with his wife Jacqueline in a head-on crash near Inverness on Sunday.

His father John Corris, Chairman of the Manx Labour Party, has described how the news was broken to him in the early hours of Monday morning at his home in Willaston.

Mr Corris senior says his son had a passion for motorbikes and the couple were returning from a weekend meeting
