YOUNG people will have the chance to try a range of Olympic sports next week before they go back to school.
As part of the summer holiday sports programme, held at the National Sports Centre in Douglas, students have the opportunity of attending a two day Olympic scheme on September 6 and 7.
Sports on offer will include athletics, badminton, handball, squash and many more.
David Cretney MHK, Minister for Community, Culture and Leisure said: "The Department is very keen to ensure that young people have accessible opportunities to try and learn different sports.
"The two day Olympic scheme gives young people another great opportunity to have a go at different sports under the supervision of qualified coaches."
The scheme is for anyone in school years two to 10 and costs £14 for one day or £25 for both days. Sessions start at 9am and finish at 3.30pm.
