Celtic League makes further parole board request

by isleofman.com 30th August 2010

The Celtic League's long-running battle to find out more about the Isle of Man Parole Board is still going.

Director of information Bernard Moffatt has again written to the Department of Home Affairs' chief executive Will Greenhow with a number of questions about the board.

He asks if the identity of the board's members is still secret.

If so, what is the rationale behind this, if not Mr Moffatt asks for the current membership of the board, the selection process and duration of office.

Mr Moffatt also wants to know if an annual report is published and whether it is subject to independent audit and assessment.

He tried to find answers to these questions or similar in 2007, apparently receiving some sort of response a year or so later.
