by isleofman.com 27th August 2010

Police are probing a theft which they say has left a mother distressed and upset.

Her mobile phone was stolen from an empty pram as she was in her car alongside it tending to her baby.

It happened at around 3.30pm yesterday outside the Welbeck Hotel on Mona Drive in Douglas.

The man who took it was then seen making off down a rear lane towards the promenade.

Call police headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if you know anything about the theft.
