Health minister responds to RHA statement call

The Isle of Man is on course to have a new reciprocal health agreement with the UK by the end of September.

Health minister David Anderson insists he is satisfied with progress being made in negotiations with the Department of Health in Westminster.

His move comes after eight Tynwald members this week raised concerns over the possibility of there being no agreement in place when the current temporary arrangement comes to an end.

They wrote a letter calling for Mr Anderson to issue an update to the Manx people as a matter of urgency to ease their worries.
