Trevor Baines and his wife Wendy, who're facing several theft charges, have appeared before the deputy high bailiff.
The 71-year-old and 52-year-old Mrs Baines, both of Woodbourne Road in Douglas, were charged together.
The prosecution said committal papers were almost complete and would be served shortly, leading to a possible committal on September 21.
Mrs Baines was granted bail by Alastair Montgomerie.
Mr Baines was granted technical bail.
He's currently serving a custodial sentence for another matter.
