Uncertainty still surrounds the future of the new Reciprocal Health Agreement.
A letter signed by seven MHKs and an MLC has been sent to the health minister calling for an "full and unequivocal" public statement on the matter.
It's five weeks until the temporary arrangement expires.
This week health minister David Anderson has said he's confident the new one will be in place as of October 1, but nothing has been confirmed as yet.
One of those who signed the letter, East Douglas MHK Chris Robertshaw, says maybe the public don't share Mr Anderson's confidence, given how the ending of the previous agreement was handled:
