MGP roads closed reminder

by isleofman.com 18th August 2010

Manx Grand Prix organisers say the Mountain Course will close at 5pm on Saturday – an hour earlier than usual – to give newcomers extra time on the circuit.

The first practice session of this year’s MGP has been brought forward slightly because 50 first-time competitors have signed up for racing.

The roads open car will leave the Grandstand shortly after 8pm, with the course expected to re-open at around nine o’clock.

Clerk of the Course Phil Taubman says he’s delighted with the number of newcomers.
