Man injured in hit and run

A hit and run in Castletown last night left a man with leg and arm injuries.

The 35-year-old from Douglas was driving his car on the bypass at around 8pm when another vehicle hit his before driving off.

Police are appealing for the driver of a red hatchback to come forward to assist with their enquires.

They're also asking anyone who witnessed the incident to call Port Erin police station on 832222.
