by isleofman.com 18th August 2010

Jurors in a murder trial continue their deliberations today.

Simon Paul Leece, of Fairfield Terrace in Douglas, is accused of starting a fire which caused the death of Terence Losh in March, 2009.

He is also charged with lighting three other minor fires in the Bucks Road area, in the hours before the fatal blaze.

Deemster Birkett sent the jurors out to consider their verdicts yesterday afternoon, after summing up the key facts of the case.

The trial started two weeks ago.
