Jury retires in murder trial

by isleofman.com 17th August 2010

A jury has retired to decide whether a Douglas man is guilty of murder.

Simon Paul Leece, 35, is accused of starting a fire which killed builder Terry Losh in March last year.

The prosecution alleges Mr Leece set fire to Mr Losh's home in Desmesne Road, despite knowing he was putting lives at risk.

The trial at Douglas courthouse started two weeks ago.
