EXCITEMENT is building ahead of the Scouting For Girls concert at the Villa Marina tomorrow evening (Tuesday).

The popular band is set to light up the Royal Hall with songs from their hit new album, Everybody Wants To Be On TV.

The album, which was released in the UK in April, charted at number two in the UK album chart. The first single from it, This Ain’t A Love Song, went straight in at number one.

Prior to this the band’s self titled first album, released in September 2007, also reached number one. In 2009 the band was nominated for three Brit Awards for British Breakthrough Act, British Live Act and for British Single for the song Heatbeat.

The band, which was formed in 2005, comprises of members Roy Stride (vocals and keyboard), Greg Churchhouse (vocals and bass), and Pete Ellard (vocals and drums).

Following on from tomorrows gig, Scouting For Girls will be playing at V Festival before travelling to Germany at the beginning of September.

Doors for this event will open at 7pm.
