THE merger of MBL Financial Services with CFS Financial Consultants has been announced to customers and the new trading name is MBL Financial.
Following the merger Derek Morris has been appointed chairman and Matt Evans and Simon Pickering joint managing directors.
A letter to customers states: "The merger is a demonstration of our commitment to provide our clients with an unsurpassed level of service, as the bringing together of the wealth of experience, integrity and professionalism within these two well-established local companies presents us with exciting new opportunities to develop the business to the benefit of all our customers.
"Reflecting MBL's status as the largest financial advisory company in the Island we have relocated our Douglas operation to prestigious new premises at 20 Finch Road, which offers the added benefit of client parking at the rear of the building, while clients in the north of the Island will continue to benefit from the convenience of our Ramsey office at 8 Victoria Buildings, Parliament Street.
"Additionally the merger has strengthened our team of professionals, which now numbers 10 qualified independent financial advisers able to offer advice on a range of products and services including mortgages, pensions, savings, investments, life insurance, income protection as well as provide a comprehensive portfolio of benefits tailored to the needs of corporate clients.
"We are taking this opportunity to confirm our confidence in the future of MBL Financial and we shall be providing regular updates on further developments.
"In the meantime you may rest assured that MBL Financial will continue to uphold our dedication to service excellence."
