FEMALE motorcycle riders are being encouraged to take part in a ladies only ride out this weekend.

 
The Curvy Riders Motorcycle Club is hosting the event, which leaves from the Grandstand at 11.15am on Sunday, August 22.

Emma Morter, regional representative for the Curvy Riders said: "We vary our routes each time. Sometimes we ride on the TT course, but we use other roads as well and very rarely just lap the course.

"We like to ride for an hour or two and then stop off for a coffee.  All lady bikers are welcome, regardless of experience or type of bike. We always ride to the ability of the group on the day."

The Curvy Riders is a national ladies only motorcycle club with members in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

There is no charge for attending the ride outs but if the weather is poor the event will be cancelled.
