PKF's managing director Philip Dearden says no hasty decisions should be made about abolishing the system.
Rather, the Manx government should bide its time and await the outcome of a review in the autumn, by the European Union Code of Conduct Group.
A recent survey of professionals in the finance sector concluded firms would leave the Isle of Man and hundreds of jobs would disappear if the Island changed its company tax rates.
