Moves by the Isle of Man to update the regulation of its communications industry have taken a further step forward.
Twenty-two responses have been made to a public consultation on the best way to modernise regulation of telecoms providers and broadcasters on the Island.
The current format was drawn up in a pre-mobile, pre-internet, pre-digital age, which also lacked the current element of competition.
Most responses were in favour of a new 'Isle of Man' approach to communications regulation, tailored to the Island's unique situation.
