POLICE are appealing for information after a car had all its tyres slashed.

In happened in the Kerroo Coar area in Peel between Tuesday and yesterday (Thursday).

Police described the incident as an "act of mindless damage which has caused great expense to the owner of the vehicle".

The car's bodywork was also scratched.
